As a member of the ASI team, managed a World Bank Project
for Bank of America for a major bank in the Russian Far
East and consulted with credit departments of banks in
Turkey.
The
World Bank Project encompassed all areas of bank
management; strategic plan, business planning, budgeting,
credit, IT systems, Human Resource management, etc.

years as an officer of Bank of America, followed by 5
years consulting internationally
Officer specializing in branch credit and credit approval.
Domestically, participated in the credit process as a
retail lending officer, agricultural lending, real estate
lending. Internationally worked as a branch credit
officer, branch credit manager (Senior Credit Officer) and
as a credit administration approval officer.
Managed the credit review/examination process in Asia and
later in Europe, Middle East and Africa for the bank and
its investments and subsidiaries.
International: Country Manager (overseeing all of the
bank’s activities in country) for Bank of America in Hong
Kong, India, and Singapore. Resident in 10 countries,
focus on Asia.

Headed
the international credit approval/policy activities for a
major regional bank in Seattle. Oversaw the credit
activities in the bank’s international branches as well as
activities outside the state of Washington, including
Alaska, California, Oregon and New York. (1987-89)
Have
been a member of the Washington State District Export
Council since 1995. (An appointment from the U.S.
Secretary of Commerce.) This membership continues today.

The Russian World Bank project was one of
32 FIDP programs sanctioned by the Russian Central Bank
awarded to Bank of America.
I was the Project Director. Due to perseverance, the Bank
of America project was the only one of the 32 to be
completed successfully.
